Old San Juan - Puerto Rico

What a wonderful place. It really reminds me of home and of course, is for sure one of the reasons why my husband and I have so much in common. Our home city is very alike and with a lot of similarities such as food, architecture and culture. What a beautiful place, I have to say we really enjoyed it but I think it would have being a different idea to go when it was just the two of us. Karina had a great time, tons of places to go in, run and play but of course at the end of the day, her parents were exhausted. Puerto Rico has wonderful places to eat, the night scene is to die for (although we didn't get to experience it this time) and people are wonderful (friendly). Of course, like in any other latinamerican city, traffic is a little tricky, to say the least. We went to the beach, to Old San Juan, Ponce and many other places but here are just a few of my favorite shots.
Enjoy your weekend!

Pittsburgh Catering - Above and Beyond

Monique Achaia Ruvolo is the executive chef for this wonderful catering business. Her food is definitely good for the soul. I have to say, the food is to die for, so flavorful; it leaves you wanting for more. Everybody that works with her is so friendly and approachable. I was able to capture these images before the guests had a chance to enjoy her delicious food. Please, if you are looking for someone to cater your special event, give her a call; I promise, you will not be disappointed.
Monique can be reached at 412-916-5627 or at yogaia@msn.com
Enjoy!

Gierbolini Family - Puerto Rico

I had the pleasure of going on vacation with the Gierbolini Family. We all went to Puerto Rico and had a wonderful time but of course, we all had to take advantage of the beautiful beach for a photoshoot. That is the way to go guys "Take your photographer on vacation with you", I am always open for those kind of adventures!:)
I have to say the kids were amazing. It was early in the morning but not as early so it was already hot and humid when we head out to the beach. We started by telling the kids to smile and look at the "birdie" in tia Katia's camera and in the end they were spelling the word PENTAX on my camera. It all worked out, we had a lot of fun and these are memories of a wonderful vacation. I am glad I was the one capturing these moments. Thank you guys for an awesome time. Enjoy!
