Pic of the Day, Thursday

Despite the fact she has being very difficult today I have to say she does take beautiful pictures. We are having one of those days when everything that can go wrong actually DOES! She woke up this morning with a temper and has being a very temperamental child all morning. She is taking her nap now which gives me hopes of a better afternoon. I still have to do laundry, make the beds and start cooking for dinner but I first had to post these images of my little brat, I love her no matter what but it's better for both when she is in a good mood.

H.S Senior - Kirsten

Do you know how hot it was today? Well, Kirsten, Donna (her mom) and me know exactly how hot it was but that didn't stop us from getting awesome pictures. We met in South Park at 5:30pm with beautiful skies and wonderful sun but it was also hot and humid. Poor Kirsten, she was such a good sport but all that hard work paid off, she looks beautiful in all these images. We drove around the park and found wonderful places to use as backgrounds. I have to say Kirsten, the clothes you picked were great!!!I hope you, your mom and your sister enjoy this sneak peak!!!There are many more pictures to come.

H.S Senior - Emily
What a sweet girl, just like her mother. Emily is smart, beautiful and a wonderful person. So many aspirations and with great plans for after graduation. We spent a wonderful afternoon talking and photographing Emily outside Phipps Botanical Garden. It was warm and at times too sunny but it was beautiful. I love ALL her pictures and believe me there are tons!!!I went a little overboard but how can I not! She listened to all my crazy requests and followed them to the last little detail. She has a great sense of fashion and I love the fact she is true to herself in everything she does. Thank you Emily for letting me be your photographer!!!I had an awesome time, next, pictures of you and your cute Italian boyfriend o.k.?

Angela & Kevin - Engaged!

I woke up today and I was sad to see the skies were gray again. This was going to be the third time we canceled because of weather. In hopes we would at least have clear skies, I headed out to Mingo Creek County Park. As I drove to the park, I started convincing myself that it wasn't so bad last time I had to shoot with an umbrella, the bride and groom were all wet and my neck was almost bent in a 90 degree angle by the end of the shoot from holding the umbrella with my shoulders. The day couldn't be better. Angela and Kevin arrived five minutes after me and with them the magnificent sun!!!We started with great weather since the sun wasn't quite out yet. They are such a wonderful couple. Very genuine and fun to photograph. I have to say, we had so much fun joking about how they met and how they became a couple (I am not saying...ask them...it's a very romantic story). We walked around the park and found very nice places to shoot. Mingo Park has two wonderful covered bridges (if I am not mistaken) and a beautiful creek. I didn't want the morning to end, we were having so much fun. What a wonderful way to start my weekend. Enjoy this sneak peak of your engagement session, there are so many more to come. My baby is one

I am still amazed at how big she is getting. Yesterday she was dancing at the tune of OMG featuring USHER, what? oh OMG yes! not too long ago she couldn't even walk. I know, a year is a long time but is it really? So many things I did over the past year and things I didn't do it's scary. We had a baby, we bought a new house, we went to Panama, we lost weight, we gained it back, we welcomed family into our new home, we made new friends and said goodbye to others. So many things and all that with a new member in our family. I am happy to say that she has being a little angel, although she has quite a temper when things don't go her way. She sleeps at night and takes naps and helps mom with photos. She plays by herself more than she cries because we don't pay attention to her. She is almost ready to drink her milk from a sippy cup and this morning I sat her on the toilet and she went to the bathroom (of course, against her will), I think she was scared. But time passes by us so fast, I tell myself to enjoy every minutes of it because it is so short. That is why I love photography, because I capture those moments that pass by us so fast. To the memories, may they last a lifetime!!!
