Pics of the Day - Monday

Karina had her first play date not too long ago and of course I always have to bring my camera. You never know when you are going to get a great shot of any silliness happening. These are not exactly silly moments but there is a story behind them. On Karina's shot, she is standing there doing "her business" and when I say business I SAY BUSINESS! hahaha she tends to give you that look of working for something, once she is done she steps into more interesting things without even caring about the fact her diaper has a little surprise. Isabella's shot was of frustration because Karina kept taking things away from her and since she is such a good baby she was sharing all her toys. God bless her heart! Pic of the Day - Thursday

The sky makes for the most beautiful background. Always keep that in mind when you are taking a picture. I take advantage of this wonderful creation when it comes to pictures, even if they are portraits. Sometimes the sky is blue and soft, sometimes is dark and edgy but most of the time it is just perfect! Remember that when you are taking pictures of the sky, depending on the time of the day, you always want to have the correct ISO setting, to give it that contrast and get the best out of what you are photographing. Get down on your knees and photograph someone with the sky on the background, you might find very interesting pictures. These images are from different seasons, at different times of the day; you can see they are all featured by the wonderful sky! Enjoy this little tip and hopefully this weekend will be full of wonderful images for you and your family!

11 months old

Its so hard to believe that my baby is almost a year. I feel like it was yesterday that we came back from the hospital with this little tiny being. Its being such a wonderful year and is exciting to think that we have so many years to come, but you know that the first year is something special, more so when you are a first time parent. Everything is new and scary but at the same time amazing. Karina is almost a year. She still wakes up at night sometimes and cries for no reason but she smiles and giggles. She is healthy and always ahead. I have to say, my camera has captured so many important moments and will continue to capture more and more as time passes. I cannot be more blessed.


She loves to pick up things from the floor and give them to you, no matter what it is.

It's not all smiles and giggles, she didn't like how the grass felt on her legs.

I love how they make baby shoes look like grown up shoes.

Daddy met with us at the park, this is them saying hello to each other.
