Karina turning nine months

My daughter just turned nine months and every month I take pictures of her, sometimes with daddy. I cannot believe how fast she is growing but I guess every mom experiences the same. It was just yesterday when she was a little baby not able to even smile. These were taken outside. She fell asleep in the car so when we arrived she was not up for pictures, as you can see in some of them but as soon as she saw dogs and ducks she was fine.

2010 Engagement Sessions

I usually include engagement sessions in my wedding packages but once in a while I am asked about engagement sessions. Sometimes couples do not plan on having a wedding but they sure want to have the memory of getting engaged. For this reason, I am posting this information for those who are interested in getting an engagement session. WPPI contest

Not too long ago, I submited some images to the WPPI for an all paid conference in Vegas (May 2010) and although I didn't win it I was offered a year membership to this wonderful society. These are some of the images I posted with my application. Maybe next year I'll have a chance to go.

Baloa Twins

This duo is something! They are twins but they are so different. Reynaldo is such a peaceful baby, always staring and looking. On the other hand, Daniel is always awake, crying and asking for something but they are both so precious. Their parents waited for them for such a long time and now that they are here, they could not be happier. There is a very special place in heaven for parents of twins...TONS OF WORK!!!It was really a pleasure taking these photographs...babies are such a joy.

Fooooddddd

Food is not generally what I photograph but I am always equal to the task. I was asked to photograph food and of course, I went and had fun. It is hard to make food look yummy and interesting, almost as if you can taste it, but it is always good practice. I believe that if you can photograph food and make it look delicious you have accomplished A LOT!!! Here are some of my favorite shots.

Andrea's project

Andrea is such a shy girl but never the less very beautiful. We spent a couple of hours trying to figure out poses that would go with her personality and of course, the poses that we thought might not go with her, she loved! I happened to agree with her. She is going to break a lot of hearts.

Erick and Jeniffer's engagement

It was a very warm and nice afternoon. There was people in the plaza and I asked them if they were shy about posing for the camera. Jeniffer said no but Erick hesitated. We walked on the old plaza and look for a very nice place to start shooting. The sunset was beautiful and the breeze hit our faces and sometimes get on our nerves too. Jeniffer's hair kept interrupting the session but in the end we got really great shots. Lots of happiness to this young couple.
